Scored this Frigidaire fridge on sale for $315 and I’m so glad I did! There was a tiny dent on the front when it arrived, but it’s ridiculously small – like, so small my camera can’t even capture it. This fridge works like a champ! It actually works a little too well – on setting 4, a water bottle right up against the back will freeze solid.
I wasn’t sure about the little freezer compartment at first, but it works great! We actually bought this as a second fridge for the kids, but let me tell you, if it goes on sale again, we’re getting another one to replace our main fridge altogether. Just a heads-up, the handles aren’t movable if you want to switch the hinges around. Not a big deal for me, so it doesn’t lose any points for that.
I’m not sure if I’d pay the full $600 price tag, but for $315, it’s a steal! I’m already eyeing another one. If you see it on sale again, don’t hesitate to grab it! Just get the extended warranty – it’s not a monthly thing like phone plans, and with the way shipping can be rough on these things, it’s worth the peace of mind. Especially since things tend to break right after the manufacturer’s warranty ends. Speaking of electricity bills, mine hasn’t budged since I plugged this little guy in. The kids are in and out all day grabbing drinks, and it still hasn’t made a dent.
